The Tanzanian Embassy Gets a Gold Star

I have my visa!! Amazing. I am so impressed with the speedy turnaround by the Tanzanian Embassy in New York. I sent my passport and all my paperwork off last week expecting a 11-14 day turnaround. Incredibly, FedEx delivered my passport back to me today with my visa inside, all ready to go. Yay!

Now most of the major stuff is out of the way. I will still need to send my passport off again to get a Kenyan visa for the vacation part of my trip when I meet my mom. 

Other things I have to do:

• Take my round of Typhoid pills (will start those on Saturday)
• Get my other prescriptions (Malaria pills, Cipro, ect)
• Keep fundraising!! (Check out the button to the left! Help sponsor my volunteer work!)
• Find some below the knee length skirts! (That is what I will have to wear everyday at my placement)
